Useful Information

Accommodation in Lincoln

Premier Inn (City Centre, Broadgate) and Holiday Inn (Express City Centre, Brayford Park) are probably the cheapest hotels in the city centre and are in walking distance to Mansions of the Future – from the Premier Inn it would take 5-10 minutes to walk and 15-20 minutes from Holiday Inn.

Parking in Lincoln

We suggest avoiding the NCP car-parks as they tend to be the most expensive. There is a multi-storey car park next to Lincoln bus station (and just a few minutes walking from Mansions) called Lincoln Central Car Park which is less pricey than the NCPs. Day cost is £8. The main road this is situated off (Broadgate) also has a multi-storey car park at the side of the Premier Inn (it is not the hotel’s car park) which is slightly more reasonable than NCP ones.

Mansions of the Future

Mansions of the Future is located directly opposite the road from Lincoln train station and across from the bus station. It is the white building. There is no on-site parking. The spaces we are using within the venue are all on the ground floor and accessible via ramps. There are fully accessible toilets and assistance dogs are welcome in the building.

For any further queries please get in touch with the symposium’s organisers at the following e-mails: Laura Way laura.way@bishopg.ac.uk and Francis Stewart francis.stewart@bishopg.ac.uk

We look forward to meeting you.
